How is my monthly tuition calculated?

Tuition is based upon enrollment for 36 weeks of instruction from September to June of the current year. Each month is then pro-rated to the same amount. Please refer to our rates for monthly fees. You can see hourly lesson costs in our policies.

How do I pay for lessons?

Payments are due on the 1st of every month, either by cheque, cash, or e-transfer. More details can be found in our policies here.

What if I cannot make it to my lesson, what is your cancelation policy?

Makeup lessons are not always guaranteed, as we run a very busy schedule. Through each parent/student profile(mymusicstaff) the studio calendar may be viewed clearly and lessons may be canceled and/or rescheduled with appropriate notice by either parent or student as needed. In these cases we are automatically notified of the change. In order to reschedule a canceled lesson, students need to have a make up credit(no credit will be issued if less than 24hrs notice is given) NOTE: Make up credits must be used within the current term of missed lesson only.

Are there any performance opportunities?

We have 2 big recitals during the year, in December and in June, that students are welcome to perform at. We also have tons of little events through the year such as a costume recital in October and workshops where students are encouraged to perform. These are all optional, we never force students to perform if they don’t feel ready.
